RESOLUTION NO. 109-2022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH EATON AND ASSOCIATES IN THE AMOUNT OF
$208,854.65 TO PURCHASE AND REPLACE NETWORK SWITCHING EQUIPMENT
AND APPROPRIATING $209,000 IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
INTERNAL SERVICES FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame replaced the existing switches in 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame’s Information Technology (IT) Managed Services
Provider conducted a network discovery and identified the need to replace the network
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City solicited a request for pricing from six vendors and received four
timely responses; and
WHEREAS, Eaton and Associates has the lowest pricing; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a professional services agreement with Eaton
and Associates to purchase and replace network switching equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Burlingame hereby approves and authorizes:
1. The City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Eaton and
Associates to purchase and replace network switching equipment in the amount of
$208,854.65, in the form attached hereto.
2. An appropriation of $209,000 be established within the City’s Information Technology
Internal Services Fund.
3. The City Clerk to attest to the signature of the City Manager upon execution of the
Professional Services Agreement.

6th day of September 2022 and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
