RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT
EXTENSION WITH AXON ENTERPRISE, INC. TO PROVIDE BODY WORN CAMERAS AND
TASERS TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $418,573.75
WHEREAS, the Police Department has been utilizing Tasers since 2007 and body worn
cameras since 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department and the public have benefitted greatly from the use of
body worn cameras and the less-than-lethal option that Tasers provide; and
WHEREAS, Axon Enterprise Inc. has been providing the Police Department with Tasers
since 2007 and body worn cameras since 2017; and
WHEREAS, Axon Enterprise Inc. is able to continue to provide such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve the five-year agreement extension with
Axon Enterprise Inc., in the form attached hereto, at a cost of $83,714.75 per year ($418,573.75
total).

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day
of September, 2022 and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, O’BRIEN KEIGHRAN, ORTIZ
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
