RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCURE A GREEN CLIMBER
MASTICATOR IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $140,000 AND APPROPRIATING
THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE GRANTS FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame was awarded the Hazardous Fuel Reduction Grant in
the amount of $140,000 to purchase a masticator to reduce fuel loads in Mills Canyon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame accepted the grant at the August 15,
2022 Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Green Climber Masticator will be purchased through Sourcewell, a
government purchasing contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City of Burlingame to procure a Green
Climber Masticator at a cost not to exceed $140,000.
2. An appropriation of $140,000 be established within the City’s Grants Fund
3. The City Council approves purchasing the Green Climber Masticator through Sourcewell.

resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of September,
2022, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
