RESOLUTION NO. 100-2022
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE
FERGUSON GROUP FOR NEEDS ANALYSIS, GRANT RESEARCH, GRANT WRITING, AND
ADVOCACY SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $360,000
WHEREAS, on January 17, 2020, the City of Burlingame entered into a professional services
agreement with The Ferguson Group (TFG) for grant writing and advocacy services (“Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, on February 22, 2021, the City and TFG entered into Amendment No. 1 to the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2021, the City and TFG entered into Amendment No. 2 to the
Agreement, which expanded the scope to include development of a general federal agenda and
strategy, grant consultation and writing, and advocacy services; and
WHEREAS, on July 13, 2022, the City and TFG entered into Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement,
which extended the term; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to extend the Agreement for an additional two-year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Agreement with The Ferguson Group in the form
attached hereto.
2. The City Council authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the Agreement for and
on behalf of the City.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th day of August,
2022, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, O’BRIEN KEIHGRAN, ORTIZ
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
