A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $678,400 FOR
THE NEIGHBORHOOD STORM DRAIN #13 PROJECT TO C2R ENGINEERING,
INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT
CITY PROJECT NO. 85890
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2022, the City issued notice inviting bid proposals for the
Neighborhood Storm Drain #13 Project, City Project No. 85890; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 2022, four proposals were received and opened before the City
Clerk and representatives of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, C2R Engineering, Inc., submitted the lowest responsible bid for the job in the
amount of $678,400.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, and it is ORDERED, that the Plans and
Specifications, including all addenda, are approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of C2R Engineering, Inc., for said project in the
amount of $678,400, and the same hereby is accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract in the form attached hereto be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the
performance of said work, and that the City Manager be aut horized for and on behalf of the City
of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and the labor
materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th
day of August, 2022, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
