A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CSG
CONSULTANTS, INC. IN THE AMOUINT OF $293,400 FOR THE EL CAMINO REAL
SEWER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND ADELINE DRIVE WATER MAIN
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
CITY PROJECT NOS. 85970 & 84981
WHEREAS, on June 16, 2022, the City issued notice inviting bid proposals for the El
Camino Real Sewer Main Improvements, City Project No. 85970 & Adeline Drive Water
Main Improvements, City Project No. 84891; and
WHEREAS, said projects are within the Caltrans right-of-way, and therefore, the projects
requires coordinating with Caltrans for traffic control, obtaining all the necessary permits
for construction, and adhering to all the Caltrans right -of-way requirements; and
WHEREAS, CSG was selected as the top qualified firm to provide professional services
related to construction management of capital improvements projects because the firm
has experience in working on similar projects; and
WHEREAS, CSG is a well-qualified firm based on their experience with and knowledge
of construction methods; construction within Caltrans’ right-of-way; and having
successfully completed projects for the City; and
WHEREAS, Staff has negotiated a professional services agreement with CSG for
construction management and inspection services for the project in the amount of
$293,400; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California which FINDS,
ORDERS and DETERMINES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The public interest and convenience require execution of the Professional
Services Agreement cited in the title above and attached hereto.
2. The City Manager is authorized to sign said Agreement on behalf of the City
of Burlingame.

3. The City Clerk is instructed to attest such signature.

15th day of August, 2022 and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
