RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF LANDSCAPE STRUCTURES PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $250,571.53 FOR THE ALPINE PARK PLAYGROUND, CITY PROJECT NO. 86270
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame Playground Replacement Capital Improvement
Program has identified Alpine Park Playground as needing replacement to meet Americans with
Disabilities Act and American Society for Testing and Materials compliance; and
WHEREAS, Landscape Structures playground equipment is consistent with other City
parks play structures and meets the design aspects developed by a community advisory committee;
and
WHEREAS, Landscape Structures playground equipment can be purchased through
CMAS, a purchasing cooperative under the California Department of General Services Procurement
Division, for $250,571.53; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement
Program for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council of the City of Burlingame authorizes the purchase of Landscape Structures
playground equipment at a cost of $250,571.53 through CMAS for the Alpine Park Playground
Renovation project, City project No. 86270.

resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of July, 2022,
and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, O’BRIEN KEIGHRAN, ORTIZ
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
