RESOLUTION NO. 074-2022
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
ACCEPTING THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO DISTRICT -DISCRETIONARY
MEASURE K FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEASURE K GRANT
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
WHEREAS, Measure K is the half -cent general sales tax initially approved by San Mateo
County voters in November 2012 and extended in November 2016 for a total of 30 years; and
WHEREAS, on June 14, the Board of Supervisors approved Supervisor Pine's proposal to
grant $30,000 in Measure K funds for appliances and equipment for the kitchen in the new Community
Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BURLINGAME DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council accepts the grant funds in an amount not to exceed $30,000.
2. The City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City to execute a Measure K Grant
Agreement with the County of San Mateo, in the form attached hereto, for receipt and
administration of said funds.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held
on the 20th day of June, 2022, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: BEACH, BROWNRIGG, COLSON, O'BRIEN KEIGHRAN, ORTIZ
NOES: Councilmembers: NONE
