HomeMy WebLinkAboutMin - CC - 1972.05.1125*n Burlingame, California May 11, L972 CALL TO ORDER An adjourned meeting of the Burlingame City Council from its regular meeting of May 1, L972, was held on the above date. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m., Mayor Victor A. Mangini presiding. A11 members of the Council were present. l4ayor Mangini announced that the meeting was called for the purpose of interviewing representatives of the four firms whose proposals for the Burlingame Avenue Area Offstreet Parking Study were recommended by staff and the sub-committee of the Cittzens Parking Study Committee to Council for con- sideration and possible selection of one to perform the study. The firms to be interviewed were Conrad Associates, Deleuw, Cather & Company, George S. Nolte & Associates and Jones-Tillson Associates. The interviews took place in Conference Room B in the City Hal1. In addition to the Council, there were also present the City Manager, City Engineer, City Planner, Messrs. James B. Delehanty and John B. Cockcroft, Jr., members of the sub-committee which reviewed all of the study proposals, and Mr. Peter A. Campanile,President, Broadway-Burlingame Area Merchants Association. George S. Nolte & Associates' presentation was made by Mr. Louis H. Larson, assisted by Mr. Richard A. Nystrom andMr. Byron Larson, and a representative of Stone & Youngberg Municipal Financing Consultants, fnc; Conrad Associates' presentation by Mr. Robert S. Engle andMr. Richard Graves; Deleuw, Cather & Company preseritation by Mr. James W. Meyer and Mr. John M. Hirashima; and, Jones-Tillson & Associates and Mr. Barry Roth. presentation by l.{r.
