RESOLUTION NO. 102-2021
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH CENTRALSQUARE TECHNOLOGIES, LLC FOR AN UPGRADE
OF BUILDING PERMIT SOFTWARE IN THE AMOUNT OF $143,775.00
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has been utilizing TRAKiT
v2014.x permit software since 2014 with no significant updates since installation; and
WHEREAS, the provider of TRAKiT, CentralSquare Technologies, LLC, has
indicated it will no longer support TRAKiT v2014.x; and
WHERAS, in considering an upgrade to TRAKiT v2014x, Building Division staff
evaluated alternative systems offered by other vendors, and selected CentralSquare
Community Development v20.x for reasons including ease of upgrade and integration
with the existing system, range of features, user interface, and competitive cost; and
WHEREAS, all costs for plan check and permit processing are passed through to
project proponents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to negotiate and execute an
agreement with CentralSquare Technologies, LLC for installation and deployment
of the Community Development v20.x software for a contracted amount of
$143,775.00, in the form attached hereto.
2. The City Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the City Manager upon
execution of the Services Agreement.
