RESOLUTION NO. 096-2021
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME APPROVING THE
PROCUREMENT OF LANDSCAPE STRUCTURES PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $156,016.36 FOR VICTORIA PARK PLAYGROUND RENOVATION, CITY
PROJECT NO. 84730
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame Playground Replacement Capital Improvement
Program has identified Victoria Park Playground as needing replacement to meet Americans with
Disabilities Act and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) compliance; and
WHEREAS, Landscape Structures playground equipment is consistent with other City
parks play structures and meets the design aspects developed by a community advisory
committee; and
WHEREAS, Landscape Structures playground equipment can be purchased through
CMAS, a purchasing cooperative under the California Department of General Services
Procurement Division, for $156,016.36; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Parks and Recreation Capital
Improvement Program for this purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
The City Councl of the City of Burlingame approves the procurement of Landscape
Structures playground equipment at a cost of $156,016.36 through CMAS for the
Victoria Park Playground Renovation project, City project No. 84730.

resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of August,
2021, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
