Councilman Amstrup supported the 19 hours for the next slxmonths. He stated it w1ll probably be August or Septemberbefore the Cityb ftnancial ionditt6n will"be known.'-Ai ihatttme, continutng operation of the branch will be debated.
Mayor Crosby stated. he_ had hoped the branch could be keptopen; this appears to be one way of dotng it. He had nbobjectlon- to the proposed hours'and cons-idered a conplete re-view of the Library budget in July reasonable.

the property was too small to accoomodate this type of use.

In a communicatton (undated), the above firm offered to donate to
the city spraying equtprnent for Park Department use. In response
to Counailnan Amstrup, the Ctty Attorney reassured the Counctf it
can legally accept the donatton. Director of Publlc Works ex-
plalned that thtb is standard equiparent used in landsacpe work.
Counc ilman Mart!n recalled that the clty has .accepted donated
equipnent in the past and when tt vrore out requests were made for
replacements. Ile hoped thts would not happen hele.
Counc llwoman Barton moved to accept the equipment wlth a thank
you letter to the donors. Second by Counctlman Amstrup, carrted
unanimously on roll call.
