A regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council was held on the
above date in the City HaII Council Chambers. Meeting was calledto order at 8:05 P.M. by Mavor R. D. Martin.

City Manager's memo of May 29,1980 transmitting this MOU recommended
its approval by Council. Council discussed briefly and agreed that
supplemental letter of May 22,1980 from Richard S. Idhitmore should
also be signed by Union negotiator George Popyack and incorporated
into the Memo of Understanding.

Councilman Crosby moved approval of the consent calendar, seconded
by Councilman Mangini, carried unanimously on ro11 call vote with
exception of Mayor Martin's abstention on Item 3A because of conflict
of interest.
