RESOLUTION NO. 043-2021
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH CARTEGRAPH SYSTEMS LLC
TO PROVIDE ASSET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SERVICES FOR THE
MAINTENANCE DIVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Maintenance divisions currently
use Cartegraph software to manage the City's maintenance and operation service activities and
infrastructure assets; and
WHEREAS, the City has elected to implement the software as a subscription -based
service; and
WHEREAS, the City has been paying the subscription costs on a year-to-year basis; and
WHEREAS, by approving a multi -year agreement, the City can cap the annual
subscription costs, thereby avoiding future price increases for the duration of the agreement;
and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a three-year service agreement with Cartegraph
Systems to provide software services for the Public Works and Parks and Recreation
Departments' operations and maintenance services in the amount of $179,592.65; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work under the agreement includes software hosting on web
servers, technical support, necessary upgrades, and training.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Manager is authorized to execute a three-year agreement with Cartegraph
Systems LLC for hosted software services.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3r' day
of May, 2021 and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
