Williams, Parks & Recreation Director Rental Fees and Policies for Soccer Center Enclosed is a sheet listing the staff proposed rental fees and policies for public use of the new Soccer Center facilities. Please review what is being proposed. Examples: City, local school districts, etc. Group B: Non-profit groups or organizations. Examples: A.Y.S.O., B.G.S.L., B.Y.B.A., Scouts, Etc. Resident non-profit youth sports groups must be affiliated with Burlingame leagues. Group C: Private parties, commercial, business and profit -making organizations. Examples: Weddings, receptions, birthday parties, educational seminars, etc. Any group, organization or individual can be denied a permit if, in the opinion of the Parks & Recreation Department, that activity is not in the best interest of the Recreation Center or the community. Departmental decisions may be appealed to the Park and Recreation Commission. Facility Rental Fees - Room fees listed below are on a per room, per hour basis and include time for set-up and activity. Outdoor Facilities Field Lights $15.00/hrinfield Drag & Line: Fees to be determined by Parks Division Lifeguard (minimum 2 per event) $20.00 per guard, per hour Payments & Refunds Any group, organization or individual reserving a Parks & Recreation Department facility must pay a deposit (amount to be determined by the Parks & Recreation Department), which will act as a security bond, upon making the reservation. Total fee is due with the signed permit at least 30 days prior to the event. The bond may be refunded, all or in part, depending upon the condition of the facilities after the activity. User is responsible for damage to premises or extra custodial work incurred as a result of the activity. Groups may cancel an event up to one month prior to the activity and receive a full refund. Activities cancelled within one month of the activity are subject to losing the deposit.
