RE: HERITAGE TREE REMOVAL ON EL CAMINO REAL
At their City Council meeting of July 18, the City Council
reviewed the Beautification Commission's action on Caltrans's
request for removal of ten Eucalyptus trees on E1 Camino Real
and the proposed replacement and pruning program. The
City Council and staff were very appreciative to you and
your staff for the responsible and cooperative approach which
Caltrans has taken in determining the potentially hazardous
trees while seeking to maintain the overall character of
the grove.
TEL:(415) 342-8931
The City of Burlingame feels strongly about being a "tree city"
and we wish to thank you and Caltrans for your cooperative
approach in this matter.
Cordially,
City Manager
