Box 3366 Rincon Annex San Francisco, CA Dear Mr. Behm: Geographical 94119 RE: HERITAGE TREE REMOVAL ON EL CAMINO REAL At their City Council meeting of July 18, the City Council reviewed the Beautification Commission's action on Caltrans's request for removal of ten Eucalyptus trees on E1 Camino Real and the proposed replacement and pruning program. The City Council and staff were very appreciative to you and your staff for the responsible and cooperative approach which Caltrans has taken in determining the potentially hazardous trees while seeking to maintain the overall character of the grove. QUADRI - DIRECTOR OF PARKS RE: REQUEST FOR REMOVAL OF 4 SYCAMORES AT 1245 ECR - TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH Request to remove four (4) Sycamores as part of new landscap- ing of church property. There are currently 8 Sycamores in this location. Those circled in red are under consideration for removal. Primary objective is to "open" area so that new landscaping will be able to establish, and basic architecture of church may be seen. A representative from the church will be present to discuss this project, and answer any questions the Commission may have. Richard P.
