REPORTS
Commissioner Perry
Burlingame Intermediate School won the February Clean Campus inspec-
tion. (The February inspection was postponed until now). The com-
mittee will be meeting soon to determine the winner of the April
inspection.
Commissioner Perry reported that she sent for information on news-
paper dispensers. The Commission is interested in the dispensers
having some uniformity. Director Quadri will speak with the City
Attorney to find out what the regulations are, if any, and what re-
strictions the City can make.
Commissioner Perry indicated that the Millbrae Beautification Com-
mission has high school students represented on their commission,
and feels there should be a way of involving students on the Burl-
ingame Beautification Commission. The Commission decided that one
student from each high school (Mills & Burlingame) could be invited
to provide input to the Commission. Commissioner Perry moved that
the schools be contacted now to find out the interest in this area
of service. Commissioner Disco seconded; motion was carried unan-
imously. Director Quadri will contact the schools and will get
further information from Anne Kirkbride of the Millbrae Beautifi-
cation.

Commissioner Disco sent a "get well" card to Carl Hagstrom.
The sign, with the children's art work, at the northern entrance
to Burlingame on El Camino is broken. Director Quadri indicated
that much of the children's art work throughout the City is in ill -
repair and that if any work was to be done that the schools would
need to be approached.
Commissioner Levy
Commissioner Levy explained the method of evaluation used in the
Clean Campus inspections.
tino Chairman Bacon
Moved that it would be appropriate to name a trail at the Mills
Canyon Wildlife Area in memory of Edwin Taylor. Commissioner
Disco seconded; motion was carried unanimously.
Director Quadri
Leslie Mayne's report has been received by the City. Caltrans is
not ready to make application and indicated to Director Quadri
that they were hopeful the Commission would make no decisions at
this time. The City has not received any more information from
Don Blair and the lab reports from UC have not been received.
Commissioner Levy moved that item (B) of Old Business and items
