RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING CITY OF BURLINGAME EMERGENCY PLAN (4/2000 rev.)
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the Burlingame Municipal Code provides for adoption by the City Council of
emergency plans to ensure orderly response by the City in times of emergency and disaster; and
WHEREAS, such an emergency plan will allow the City to deal effectively with other
agencies and to ensure clear management of emergency situations pursuant to the California
Emergency Services Act; and
WHEREAS, the proposed emergency plan will allow integration of City responses into the
State standard emergency management system (SEMS),
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City of Burlingame Emergency Plan as revised April 2000 is approved.

resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16 today of October
2000, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
