RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC CONSTRUCTION AND
MANUFACTURING, INC. AND WILLIAMSON CABINET CO.
TO CONTINUE LEASEHOLD FOR FIVE YEARS IN EXCHANGE FOR
WAIVER OF RELOCATION BENEFITS AND LOSS OF BUSINESS GOODWILL
AT 1369 N. CAROLAN AVENUE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, on June 19, 2000, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 67-2000
determining that the public interest and necessity required the acquisition of the real property at 1369
N. Carolan Avenue for expansion of the City corporation yard; and
WHEREAS, as part of that resolution, the Council recognized that a lease existed on the
property in favor of Pacific Construction and Manufacturing, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Construction and Manufacturing Inc. and its subtenant, Williamson
Cabinet Co., have agreed to waive claims for relocation entitlements and loss of business goodwill
in exchange for the City's agreement to allow them to continue in occupancy to the end of the
existing lease on August 30, 2005; and
WHEREAS, this agreement should result in a net savings to the City while allowing viable
businesses to remain in the City and giving them time to find alternate locations,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED:
1. The Agreement between the City, Pacific Construction and Manufacturing Inc., and
Williamson Cabinet Co. attached hereto as Exhibit A is approved.
2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement by and on behalf
of the City.
3. The City Clerk is authorized and requested to witness the signature of the Manager.

resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of August, 2000,
and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
