RE: 1359 Columbus Ave., Magnolia Tree
To Whom it May Concern:
I would like to start off by thanking you all for your attention to our problem at your last meeting. We
appreciate your efforts to help us.
I am writing this letter to let you know that we have had two more incidents in front of our home and will
be presenting this information to the city attorney.
On March 19th , Kendall Sinclair, 6 years old, fell on the roots while playing on our front lawn and
slammed her face into the sidewalk. She cut her chin open and cut her leg. Her mother has written a letter
and will be presenting this to the city attorney as well.
... Yesterday, a friend of mine, Molly Bugg who is 8 1/2 months pregnant slipped when trying to enter her
car in an attempt to leave our home. She was not injured but was very upset.
This situation with the tree and the roots is serious and we need it to be taken care of immediately. We
have consulted an attorney and are moving to protect ourselves from the liability continuing to occur in
front of our home. We are asking again for the tree to be removed by the city at once.
Sincerely,
Janice Scattini
