At its meeting of February 5, 1998, the Burlingame Beautification Commission voted 4 - 1 (absent) - 2 (abstentions) to waive the replacement requirements for a City tree at the above address. The Commission was reluctant in rendering this decision but indicated that since two previously planted trees had died, it seemed impractical for a third tree to be planted. The Commission will review this matter and render a decision at their February 5, 1998 meeting. The Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room "A" at City Hall should you wish to attend.
