Please note that the location for this meeting will:be at the First Presbyterian Church, Room 204 upstairs. You may use the parking lot on El.Eamino and enter the building closest to the children's area (the north most building). There is an elevator to take you to the second floor. After our last two meetings, we came up with a preferred list of Eucalyptus trees that met your concerns for safety, height, foliage drop and breadth. Those in attendance at the last meeting voted on a Sugar Gum to be the predominant tree for future plantings. Because the Sugar Gum is not readily available in the United States, and because of the maintenance issues of the Red Flowering Ficifolia, we would like to revisit these tree selections with you. To assist with this process, staff has investigated a few species that are available and meet the interests expressed by the public at our first public meeting. We have included pictures of these trees so you can look them over beforehand. We. appreciate your understanding and attendance at this final meeting. The Beautification Commission is working hard to honor your wishes. Thank you.
