March 2009
Dear Realtor:
Since you are the major contact with any potentially new residents moving
to Burlingame, the Burlingame Beautification Commission has created a
brochure that highlights the benefits of trees and tree policies in the City of
Burlingame. We encourage you to share this information with your clients.
Burlingame is an official Tree City, USA that values and maintains the
mature grand canopy landscape. We believe that an educated community is
beneficial to maintaining the harmony of this concept. The enclosed
educational brochure supports this philosophy.
If you have any further questions or concerns with regard to trees, please
feel free to contact the Parks Division office at (650) 558-7330 or by writing
to the attention of the Beautification Commission, 850 Burlingame Avenue,
Burlingame, CA 94010.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Susie Lahey, Chairperson
Beautification Commission
