STAFF REPORTS PARKS SUPERVISOR DISCO 1) Jim Nantell responded regarding the Commissions recommendation to Council regarding the Adopt -a -Planters stating that, "the Council shares the Commissions belief that the Downtown Burlingame Business Association should seek to resolve the watering of the planters by resurrecting the downtown business improvement district. That is not something the City has the authority to impose on the merchants and property owners. However, Patricia Love, Economic Development Specialist, is working with Kevin Osborne, the Chamber of Commerce, and other interested people to pursue the resurrection of the downtown BID as a way to provide the necessary funds to pay for the plant material and watering. We would hope this would come to fruition in the next six months." 2) Supervisor Disco distributed the Department Head Team Proposed Service Reductions, (dated) April S, 2010.
