HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 045-2000RESOLUTION NO. 45-2000 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME ADOPTING FEES FOR THE COSTS OF PRELIMINARY DESIGN REVIEW BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City has adopted an ordinance that will provide applicants with the opportunity to have the Planning Commission study a design review submittal in public session at the beginning of the design review process; and WHEREAS, State and Federal law requires that notice of that preliminary review be given to persons living within 300 feet of the property lines of the property for which the addition or construction is proposed; WHEREAS, the costs of noticing in most areas of the City is approximately $35 or more for such expenses as postage and production of the notices; and WHEREAS, a noticing fee of $35 required of applicants to pay for these costs will be less than the actual costs incurred by the City in noticing of this regulatory activity, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. A fee of $35 for noticing costs of the preliminary review of design review applications pursuant to Chapter 25.57 to be paid at the time of submittal of the application is approved and added to the existing fees and deposits for those types of applications.
