RESOLUTION APPROVING 1 YEAR EXTENSION OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND VARIANCES
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report No 98-2P has been approved and application has
been made for a one year extension of the August 7, 2000 approval of variances and conditional use
permits for construction of an office complex and a day care center at 301 Airport Boulevard, Burlingame,
zoned C-4. APNs: 026-350-070 and 026-350-090• Glenborough Partners; property owners;
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
July 23, 2001 , at which time said application for extension was denied;
WHEREAS, this matter was called up by City Council and a hearing thereon held on November
19, 2001 , at which time the City Council reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written
materials and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Council that:
1. On the basis that on August 7, 2001 City Council certified the Final Environmental Impact Report
for development of the property pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15090, no further environmental
review of this project is required for the extension.
2. Said one-year extension of conditional use permits and variances is approved, subject to the
conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such one-year extension of conditional
use permits and variances are as set forth in the staff report, minutes and recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the
County of San Mateo.

Conditions of approval for 1 year extension Environmental Impact Report No 98-21' and of variances and
conditional use permits for construction of a day care center
301 AIRPORT BOULEVARD
effective NOVEMBER 19, 2001
that the project shall comply with the attached conditions of approval (Exhibit F) as adopted by
the City Council on August 7, 2000 by Resolution No. 85-2000;
2. that the plans and specifications for the widening of the bridge on Airport Boulevard over
Sanchez Channel submitted for building permit issuance May 18, 2001, shall be reviewed and
revised to meet all requirements of the City of Burlingame Public Works Department and of the
1998 California Building and Fire Codes as well as the requirements and regulations of any other
agencies with jurisdiction over the bridge widening; and that the plans and specifications for the
bridge construction shall be completed and assigned in writing by the owners of the plans and
specifications to the City of Burlingame no later than July 1, 2002, or use by the city in

3. that the property owner shall prepare the necessary drawings and construction documents for

improvements, at his expense, and construction of the bridge improvements shall be undertaken
with the first phase of the project to commence no later than July 1, 2003 and be completed in

conformance with BCDC permit No. 4-86 (A) issued for the bridge no later than July 1, 2006 or
at the time of final inspection of the construction of the first phase whichever is sooner; and the

property owner shall provide a time table for design and construction of the bridge
