RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER TO THE
CANYON ROAD WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CITY PROJECT NO. 9944)
TO INCREASE THE PROJECT BUDGET AND CONTRACT WITH PACIFIC
UNDERGROUND TO A TOTAL PROJECT OF $622,000
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, during the Canyon Road waterline replacement project, a water line break was
found near the project site, and this break has been isolated but requires immediate repair and
replacement; and
WHEREAS, the contractor who is performing the Canyon Road project work is willing to
use the same unit prices for the water main break section as for the project, and this will greatly
benefit the water system and community in both time and money savings,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order and any necessary
amendment to the Agreement with Pacific Underground for the Canyon Road waterling replacement
project to provide for replacement of the area in which the wager lipe b6cak-ja ur e�d'in a total
amount of up to $622,000 for the entire project.
