The Commission's next regularly scheduled meeting will be at Burlingame City Hall, 501 Primrose Road, at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2007. Field maintenance for tournaments includes: • Burlingame Girls Softball held their tournament June 15, 16 and 17 at Ray Park and Franklin Field • Colt Tournament at Washington Park July 9-13 • Burlingame Youth Baseball Association at Bayside Park June 14-18 and June 21-25 • Legion Tournament will be held at Washington Park July 24-28 2. Murray field is closed for a rest and maintenance from June 25 through August 5 Recreation Division Preschool 1. The first session of Camp Treehouse (preschool camp) began with 31 enrolled participants 2. 8 out of 9 Half Moon Music classes are filled for the summer with 12 participants in each class Teens/Youth Programs 3. YAC is hosting the BBQs at the Sunday Music in the Park concert series 4. YAC will be hosting the summer Movies in the Park, beginning with "Cars" on Saturday, July 21 st 5. Discover Days camp had their I" overnight camping trip Thursday, July 12 to Memorial Park 6. Comcast taped summer basketball games at BIS 7. New Thursday open gym at BHS has started from 7-9 pm 8. Summer Theatre began with 30 youth (ages 7-12 years) performing "How to Eat Like a Child and Other Lessons in Not Being a Grownup" at BHS on Friday, July 20 at 7:OOpm and Saturday, July 21 at 2pm - - Free admission Adult Sports 9. 8 men's team signed up for the summer/fall basketball league (6 in the past leagues) 10. 4 women's teams are registered for adult basketball 11. Dance Force youth dance camps, Princess Dance Camp, Cheerleading Dance Camp and Tiny Tot Princess Dance Camp had 40 dancers enrolled 12. Manners for Youth, 2 classes, had 30 enrolled Senior Citizens Programs 13. Trip to Jersey Boys at 18 attend 14. Friday drop -in continues to have 3 tables of bridge and over 25 for the afternoon movie 15. 15 attended the Emeritus lecture, "Healthy Eating, More Brain Power, More Energy" 16. Bingo & Bag Lunch continues to have 25 attend Family Programs & Miscellaneous 17. Burlingame Night at the Giants — June 29 18. Conducting Music in the Park concerts on Sundays in July Upcoming Events 1. Movies in the Park: July 21, Aug 25, Sept 22 —shows to begin at approximately 8:OOpm 2.
