Special Meeting of May 25,2011
1. CALL TO ORDER
A duly noticed regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council was held on the above date in the Lane
Community Room, Burlingame Public Library. Mayor Terry Nagel called the meeting to order at 8:50 p.m.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Led by Councilman Michael Brownrigg.
3. ROLL CALL
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Baylock, Brownrigg, Deal, Keighran, Nagel
COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT:
4. PUBLIC COMMENTS
The following Burlingame residents spoke on item 5: Juergen Pfaff, Betsy McGinn, Pat Giomi, Jennifer
Pfaff, Russ Cohen. Palo Alto resident, Kathy Hamilton also spoke on item 5.
5. HIGH SPEED RAIL PROJECT
CM Nantell recommended that the City not write a letter to the High Speed Rail Authority at this time and
that further discussion on the City's position take place at the June 6, 2011 City Council meeting. The
Council members all concurred.
14. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Nagel adjourned the meeting at 9:32 p.m.
