BURLINGAME CITY COUNCIL
Approved Minutes
Regular Meeting of November 15, 2010
1. CALL TO ORDER
A duly noticed regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council was held on the above date in the City Hall
Council Chambers. Mayor Cathy Baylock called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
Led by Jim Nagel.
CLOSED SESSION:
CA Guinan advised that the Council met in closed session with legal Counsel regarding the claim of Irina
Brodsky, gave direction to Counsel accordingly, and stated that there was no further reportable action.

COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT:
4. MINUTES
Vice Mayor Nagel made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 1 , 2010 regular Council meeting;
seconded by Councilwoman Keighran. The motion was approved unanimously by voice vote, 5 — 0.
5. PREENTATION
Gretchen Cody presented the final check of $5,833.33 from the "Save the Easton Branch" fund raising and
thanked all the volunteers for their efforts.
6. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Burlingame residents Constance Cohen, Betsy McGinn, Mary Helen McMahon, Ted Crocker, Beth
Beisecker, Russ Cohen, Jennifer Pfaff, Pat Giorni, Charles Voltz, and Mary Hunt spoke and thanked Mayor
Baylock for her term in office and her complete focus and involvement with regard to the high speed rail
project. There were no further comments from the floor.

8. CEREMONIAL
a. ROTATION OF COUNCIL OFFICERS
Mayor Baylock introduced local dignitaries in attendance, reviewed her year as Mayor and the highlights of
Council's accomplishments during the year, and thanked City staff and Council for their unity.
Mayor Baylock explained the Rotation of Council Officers process, introduced Mayor Nagel and Vice
Mayor Deal, and then turned the meeting over to Mayor Terry Nagel.
Mayor Nagel presented former Mayor Baylock with a gavel plaque. Mayor Nagel then spoke about the
coming year and encouraged the public to become involved in the community and present new ideas.
9. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Nagel adjourned the meeting at 7:51 p.m.
