Planning Commission's most recent meeting and is now before the Park and Recreation

Part of the framework of the General Plan's Live Work area is to provide open space with the
goal of creating a new neighborhood network of parks. The project site area is 2.83 acers and
includes 265 units with 3,730 sq. ft. of commercial use and 24,996 sq. ft. of public access open
space use. All of the units are studios or one bedrooms with amenities for the residents and the
general public. The publically accessible, privately maintained park will include a dog park for
both small and large dogs, a bocce court, dining seating areas, turf play area, storm water garden,
and "wave" field for relaxation. The Commission agreed the new park will be an asset to the
park system.
