1HEREAS, the district engineer of the divisi�n RtHigh-
cs 0ways, has called attention to the fact that Peninsgla' 4enue
and Barroilhet Avenue are situated one-half t.h:e width thereof
in the City of Burlingame and the other half in the City of
San Mateo, and has suggested that both cities co-operate in
designating these two streets as Streets of 11ajor Importance
for their entire length, so t;.at the entire area can be taken
care of for improvements and maintenance out of the one -quarter
cent gas tax fund, now, therefore, be it.
RESOLtT+:D, by the Council of the City of Burlingame that
Peninsular Avenue and Barroilhet Avenue be, and they are hereby
declared to bs Streets of Major Importance for their entire
length.
RESOLVrht 7URTHTR, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby instructed to send a certified copy of this resolution
to the City Council of the City of San Mateo.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of
November, 1937, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Buck, Hives
Hunt, 1.1cDonald, and Ward.
NOES, Councilmen, None
ABSENT, Councilmen, None
