This permit is granted subject to the following conditions: 1. Said pipe line shall be laid below the surface of the roadways to a minimum depth of two feet. Appurtenances may be constructed flush with the surface of the roadway. 2. During construction of the pipe line, the permittee shall maintain suitable bridges over the trench to take care of traffic. The permittee shall. hold the permittor free and harmless from all claims for damages or injury to persons or property resulting from accidents due to the construction, reconstruction or repair of said pipe line along said roads. If any existing sewers, water pipes or other structures of other parties laid in said roads, become injured due to any operations of the permittee under the terms of this permit, they shall be repaired immediately by the permittee at its own expense. 3. After completing construction or other work on said pipe line along said roads, the permittee shall restore the roadways to their previous condition to the satisfaction of the permittor. All construction done under said franchise shall be done subject to the general supervision and direction of the proper authorities of said city and in compli- ance with all valid ordinances and regulations which are now or shall hereafter be enacted and prescribed by said city under its police power. All public streets, ways or places disturbed or excavated by grantee, Its successors or assigns, hereunder, shall at its or their own cost and expense immediately be placed in as good order and condition as same were in before being so disturbed or excavated.
