WHERE1111.1', OPIEiLL'� GUNST is the owner of the real property
hereinafter described, and by a writing dated Deceriber 28,
1,-Z9t has offered to sell the said real property to the City
of Burlingame for the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars
('30,000.00) upon the following; terms, to -wit:
The stua of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) forthwith
on the acceptance of the offer;
The sum, of Fifteen Thousand Dollars (6,,115,000.00) on
delivery of deed and on. or before Tanuary 15, 1940;
The remainder of the purchase price to be paid on or
before June 30, 19402 and upon other Minis as in said ii-lriting
set forth; and
IMJREA,03, the City Council contemplating future recreation-
al facilities for the residents of the City of Burlingame,
after due consideration have concluded that it is to the ad-
vantage and best interest of said City of Burlingame that the
aforesaid offer be accepted;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the (fifer of OPIHELIA GUNST, dated December 132, 1339$
to sell the real property hereinafter described, upon the
terms in said offer stated, be and the scaie is I'lereby accepted,
and the kv",ayor, City Clerk and City Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed for and in behalf of the City Council
to carry on all negotiations and execute all necessary docu-
ruents to effect the purpose of the agreement and consurniate
the purchase.

the real property herein referred to consists of 7.32
acres of land with all improvements Viereon, in the City of
Burlingame, County of '-')an Mateo, State of California,
bounded on the west, north �-md east by the property of the
Carolans, and on the south by Burlingame Avenue.
