RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTION
1942
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the
City of Burlingame on Tuesday, the 14th day of April, 1942; and,
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regular_
ly given as required by law; that voting precincts were duly
established; that election officers were appointed and voting
supplies furnished, and in every respect and manner the said
election was held and conducted, and the votes cast were
received and canvassed, and the returns thereof made and de.
clared within the time, and manner prescribed by the law of the
State of California controlling elections in cities of the sixth
class; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Burlingame
duly convened at the usual place on Tuesday, the 21st day of
April, 1942, to canvass the returns of said election and install
the newly elected officers, and as a result of such canvass, the
said City Council finds that the number of votes cast, the
persons for whom such vote was cast, and all other matters re_
quired by law, are as hereinafter stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the said election held in the City of Burlingame
on Tuesday, the 14th day of April, 1942, was conducted in the
time, manner and form required by the law of the State of
California governing elections in cities of the sixth class;
That there were eleven (11) voting precincts estab-
lished for the purpose of holding said election, said precincts
being a consolidation of the regular election precincts
were consolidated as follows:

Voting Precinct "A" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 1, 21 3, 4 and 6.
Voting Precinct "B" comprised of State and County
Precincts; Numbers 5, 20, 21 and 35.
Voting Precinct "C" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 79 8, 9 and 14.
Voting Precinct "D" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 10, 11, 12 and 13.
Voting Precinct TIE" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 15, 16, 17 and 22.
Voting Precinct "F" comprised of State and County
precincts Numbers 18, 19, 23 and 24.
Voting Precinct "G" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 25, 26, 27 and 32.
Voting Precinct "HTT comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 33, jQ, 430 44 and 45.
Voting Precinct "I" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 34, 36, 41 and 42.
Voting Precinct "J" comprised of State and County
Precincts Numbers 28, 29, 30 and 31.
Voting Precinct "K" comprised of State and County
precincts Numbers 37, 382 39 and 40.
That the total number of votes cast in said consoli-
dated precincts was 3,089;
That at each consolidated precinct, the total vote
cast, the number of votes received by each person, the persons
receiving such votes for councilmen, are as follows:
