RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPOINTING TF44PORARY SUPERINTENDENT
OF RECREATION.
WHEREAS, MARVIN 1UHN, the duly appointed and acting
Superintendent of Recreation of the City of Burlingame, has been
inducted into the Federal Service for the duration of the present
war; and..
WHEREAS, the Burlingame Recreation Commission has re-
commended the appointment of MISS SHIRLEY SMITH as Acting
Superintendent of Recreation;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Miss Shirley Smith be, and
she is hereby, appointed as Acting Superintendent of Recreation
of the City of Burlingame for a period of three (3) months from
May 1, 1942, and that her salary be fixed at One Hundred Fifty
Dollars (4150.00) per month, beginning May 1, 1942.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on May 18, 1942, by
the following vote;
Ayes; Councilmen COLEMAN, DAHL, HUNT, ROTH
Noes; Councilmen NONE
Absent; Councilmen BURROWS
