DANGEROUS VMEDS A NUISANCE.
NO.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame;
I'MEREA6, certain weeds are growing in said City of
Burlingame upon the various streets, squares, lanes, alleys,
avenues, courts and places within said municipality and upon pri-
vate property within, said municipality, which said weeds bear seeds
of wingy or dowdy nature and with such large growth as to become
a fire menace when
dry,
and are otherwise
noxious
and dangerous, and
"&MEAS,
said
weeds constitute
a public
nuisance.
NOTT, TMMEIURE, it is hereby declared that the said
weeds do now constitute and will continue to constitute a public
nuisance, and it is ordered that the said public nuisance be
abated in the manner provided by law, and that such nuisance
exists upon all the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, avenues,
courts, and places within the City of Burlingame.
The properties upon which said nuisance exists are all
of the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, courts, avenues, places
and private property within said City, as shown, described and
delineated on the several maps of the properties of said City
which are recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of San Mateo, reference in each instance for the description
of any particular street or property being hereby made to the
several maps aforesaid, and in the event of there being several
subdivision maps upon mhieh the sane lots are shown, reference is
hereby made to the latest subdivision map.
And it is ordered that Monday, the 19th day of April,
1943, at the hour of eight o'clock P. M. of said day, and at the
Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
located in the City Hall of said City, be and the same is herey

fixed as the time and place when objections to the proposed re.
moval of such weeds shall be heard and given due consideration.
The Superintendent of Streets of said City of Burlingame
is hereby ordered and directed to cause notice of said hearing to
be given in the time, manner and form provided by law.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a
Resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held or. the 5th day of
April, 1945, by the following vote of the members thereof:
