REQUESTING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN MATEO A RIGHT OF WAY IN PENINSULA
AVENUE FROM THE SOUTHEAST BOUNDARY LINE
OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME TO THE UNITED
STATES M:ARITIM.E ACADEMY AT SAN MATEO POINT
FOR WATER MAINS.
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Burlingame
that the public interest and necessity require the acquisition
of a right of way in Peninsula Avenue in the City of San Mateo,
from the Southeast boundary line of the City of Burlingame to
the United States Maritime Acedemy at San Mateo Point for the
purpose of maintaining water mains therein and in order to sell
water to the said academy and surrounding area.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
San Mateo be and it is hereby respectfully requested to adopt
an ordinance granting to said City of Burlingame for said
purpose, the following right of way in the following street
and road in said City of San Mateo for the purpose of main-
taining water mains therein and in order to furnish water and
sell it to the said academy and surrounding area, with the
right to excavate and lay, repair and replace the same therein,
to -wit.
The northerly half of Peninsula Avenue in the said
City of San Mateo, from the Southeast boundary line of the
City of Burlingame to the United States Maritime Academy at
San Mateo Point in the City of San Mateo.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day
of April , 1943, by the following vote of the members
thereof;
Ayes, and in favor thereof, Councilmen;
Coleman - Hunt - Burrows - Dahl
Noes, Councilmen: None
