WHEREAS, at a special meeting of the City Council of the
Burlingame City of held on October 27, 1947, there appeared
several citizens who claim to represent the residents of a certain
area of land adjacent to the City of Burlingame, and already sub-
divided, for the purpose of arranging; for annexation of the sub-
division to the City of Burlingame; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame reacted
favorably toward the preliminary application and in view of the
requirements of law desire to encourage the annexation of said
area to the City of Burlingame, and to have an investigation and
report from the Planning Commission to the City before any action
should be taken;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the preliminary
application made by the residents of the area known as "Skyline
Manor" be, and the same is hereby referred to the City Planning
Commission for their consideration and action and to report to
the City Council whether or not the design of the said subdivision
and the construction of the buildings comply with the standards
of building construction as required by law and the ordinances
of the City of Burlingame and to render such report at the
earliest possible time.
