RESOLUTION NO. 47-47
;HERNIAS, HARRY FRANCIS DAVIS and HELEN FRANCIS DAVIS, his
wife have offered to the City of Burlingame, a general purpose
underground utility easement with the right to install, maintain
and repair any public utility under and along the following prop-
erty in the County of San Mateo, State of California, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northeasterly
line of the Skyline Boulevard, a state highway, and the
northwesterly line of Hillside Drive South, a county
road; said point of beginning being located S. 400
46+ W., a distance of 20.71 feet and N. 340 12+ W., a
distance of 62.13 feet from the most westerly corner
of Lot 6, Block 18, as said lot and block are shown on
that certain map entitled "Subdivision of Block 18 and
Resubdivision of Lots 3, 4 and 9, Block 7, Burlingame
Hills No, 3 San Mateo County, California", running
thence from said point of beginning on and along said
Northeasterly line of Skyline Boulevard, N. 340 12+ vi.,
a distance of 233.22 feet to an intersection with the
southerly line of Hillside Drive North, a city street;
thence on and along said street line S. 840 21+ E., a
distance of 13.03 feet; thence parallel and 10 feet
distant from the first course, S. 340 12+ E., a dis-
tance of 222.18 feet to an intersection with the
northwesterly line of Hillside Drive South; thence
along said county road line S. 400 46+ vJ., a distance
of 10.35 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
for the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($p200.00) lawful money of the
United States of America; and
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit and advantage of the City of
Burlingame that the offer be accepted:
NOW, THER.,�FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Burlingame that the annexed grant of easement be and the
same is hereby accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00) be appropriated out of the water fund of the City and
said amount be paid to Harry Francis Davis and Helen Francis Davis,
his wife, as the consideration for said grant of easement;
BL IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and City Treasurer
are hereby authorized and directed to proceed pursuant to this
resolution.

I, Herbert K, White, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular
eating of the City Council of the City of Burlingame held on
camber 1, 1947, and was adopted by the following vote:
