WHEREAS, the Department of Public Health, the Chief of
the Fire Department, the Building Inspector and the Chief.of
Police have reported that the premises owned and occupied by one
Maurice Sauret at 733 California Drive has been and is now being
maintained in such a manner as to be an immediate and direct
menace to the public health of residents in the vicinity of said
premises; and
IVHEREAS, it appeared that the said premises are a
nuisance, unfit for human habitation and a menace to the public
health;
N06v, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all persons interested
in this matter and particularly Maurice Sauret may appear before
the City Council at the assembly chamber in the City Hall on
Tuesday, September 2, 1947 at the hour of 8:00 p.m., of said
day, to show cause if any they have, why the said premises
should not be dedlared a nuisance and the said nuisance immedi-
ately abated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be handed personally to the owner of the said premises by the
Chief of Police at least five (5) days prior to the time set
for the hearing.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
August 4, 1947, and adopted by the following vote:
