WIiEREAS, the duly qualified Board of Freeholders,
heretofore elected for the purpose of drafting a Charter for
the City of Burlingame, have this 7th day of April, 1947, filed
with the Clerk a proposed Charter; and
WHEREAS, the requirement of law necessitates the
publication of the proposed Charter in a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City and within fifteen (15) days
after filing with the City Clerk;
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is by the City Council
hereby ordered, that the proposed Charter be published once,
within fifteen days after April 7, 1947, in the Burlingame
Advance -Star, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Burlingame.

Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
April 7, 1947, and adopted on the same date, by the following
