WHEREAS, the State of California. acquired the title to
the property hereinafter described from Bertha Sisser and Lottie
Schlanker, by deed dated July 29, 1946, for a public use, to wit,
highway purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the assessment for
municipal taxes for the fiscal year 1946-47, be and the same are
hereby cancelled in accordance with Section 4986 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code of the State of California.
The real property referred to is situate, lying and
being in the City of Burlingame, County of San 2'ateo, State of
California, and described as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of the right
of way of the California State Highway, known as the
Bayshore Highway, as conveyed by Ansel TY1. Easton and
wife to the State of California, by Deed dated October
28, 1924 and recorded August 8, 1925 in Book 182 of
Official Records of San Mateo County at page 197, which
bears North 460 611 37" West 119.98 feet from the
intersection of said line with the northwesterly line
of Broadway, produced easterly, as said Broadway,
formerly known as Buri Buri. Avenue, appears on the Map
of Burlingame Grove, being part of Buri Buri Rancho,
filed for record July 16, 1906 in Book "B" of Maps at
page 30 and a copy entered in Book 4 of Maps at Page 46,
said intersection being distant along said northwesterly
line of Broadway so produced, North 330 471 30" East
1209.4 feet from the most westerly corner of Broadway
and San Mateo Drive, as said streets appear on the map
above referred to; thence from said point of beginning
North 330 47, 30" East 100 feet; thence southeasterly
120 feet, more or less, to a point on said north-
westerly line of Broadway produced, distant thereon
100 feet northeasterly from said intersection of the
northwesterly line of Broadway produced, with the
easterly line of Bayshore Highway; t}ience along said
northwesterly line of Broadway produced, North 330
471 30" East 100 feet to a point in the northeasterly
line of that certain parcel of land conveyed by
Burlingame Securities Co., a corporation to Vision
Realty Co., a corporation, by Deed dated November 19,
1927 and recorded December 9, 1927, in Book 328 of
Official Records of San Mateo County at page 250;
thence North 320 231 18 " best and along said line,
150.96 feet to a point thereon; thence leaving said
line and running South 330 471 30" West 235.60 feet
to the easterly line of the Bayshore Highway above
mentioned; thence southerly along said line of Bayshore
Highway, 20.43 feet to the point of beginning.
