WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that it Will be
necessary to carry on certain legal proceedings, for and in
behalf of the City of Burlingame for the purpose of caring
for and protecting the interests of the City in connection
With the recent annexation to the City of certain territory
commonly and conveniently called "TRILLS MANOR":
NOW, TEEREIFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Burlingame, at A special meeting thereof,
held on the 27th day of November, 1946, does hereby authorize
and direct the City Attorney of the City of Burlingame to
proceed in such manner as he may deem advisable to protect
the interest of the City and he is especially authorized to
commence such court action as will in his judgement protect
the CityTs interest in the recent "MILLS MANOR" annexation.

do oereby certify the foregoing resolution Was introduced at
a special meeting of the City Council '_geld on November 27, 1946
