GRANTING CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVEN-
IENCE AND NECESSITY TO "UNION CAB CO."
WHEREAS, Harold R. P,:inors, a citizen of the City of
Burlingame and doing business in said City, under the firm name
and style of "Union Cab Co." at
in said City, having regularly filed with the City Clerk an
application pursuant to Ordinance No. 417 of the City of
Burlingame for a certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
as requested by said Ordinance and the said City Clerk having set
the hearing for said application after due notice as required by
said Ordinance, for Lay 20, 1946; and
WHEREAS, at the said hearing there was no opposition
or protest voiced to the granting of said Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds all of the
statements contained in the application of said "Union Cab Co."
to be true;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that certificates of
Public Convenience and Necessity be, and the same are hereby
granted to the "Union Cab Co." for the operation of ten (10)
taxicabs in the City of Burlingame as outlined in the application,
and unon condition that taxi -meters be installed within one
hundred eighty (180) days from the date hereof in all of the
taxicabs operated at said "Union Cab Co."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLTED, that the color scheme shall be
as follows: from the front of the hood and over the tops of the
doors and down each side of the trunk carrier door in the rear,
shall be in gray, above the top of the hood and over the top
of the car above the doors and stream lined down to the end of the
trunk carrier door, shall be Italian Ivory color, with Red Letter
Insignia, Union Cab Co. on each side of rear door panels and
trunk carrier, the phone number shall be in red letters on each
w
u
side of hood and on trunk carrier.
BE IT FURTHMI RESOLVED, that the applicant, the
II"Union Cab Co." shall conform to and comply with all of the pro-
visions of the said Ordinance No. 417 of the City of Burlingame.

I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of said Council of the City
of Burlingame held on Ylay 20, 1946, and was adopted by the
following Vote:
