WHEREAS, The Chief of Police of the City of
Burlingame, after a survey and investigation of the traffic
conditions existant at this date along California Drive, has
reported that there are definite hazards for the moving of
fire equipment and emergency vehicles answering a fire alarm
and has recommended a modification of the nermissarle narking
of vehicles along California Drive, and after ziving the
matter complete consideration;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLIED, that no parking be pe rmit ted
on the east side of California Drive between the hours of 8 .%..
and 6 r .L . and that parking of vehicles be limited to one hour
on the west side of California Drive between Broadway and
Sanchez .venue and that all of the curbs be marked as provided
by Section 472 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California
to carry into effect this resolution, and that the necessary

meet ins of the City Council held on June 3, 1946, and adopted by
the following vote:
