DIRECTING THE GIVING OF ?NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ANNEXATION TO CITY OF BURLINGAY? OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "BURLINGAME
MANOR" AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE IdHERE
ANY PERSON MAY APPEAR SHO6'JNG CAUSE WHY
SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED.

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City
Council requesting the annexation to the City of certain new
uninhabited territory, the boundaries of which are in said
petition and hereinafter described, and which is designated as
"Burlingame Manor" and which new territory is situate in the
County of San Mateo, State of California and is contiguous
to the City of BurlinMme; and,
WHEREAS, the said petition was signed by all of the
owners but one, of the land of said area to be annexed and which
owners represent more than ninety percent (90%) of the assessed
value of said territory according to the last preceding
equalized assessment roll of San Mateo County;
NOW, THEREFORE, Monday, the 15th day of July, 1946, at
the hours of eight o'clock, p.m., in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of
California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and
where any persons owning any real property within such territory
so proposed to be annexed having arty ob je cti ons to the proposed
annexation may appear before the City Council of the City of
Burlingame and show cause why such territory should not be
annexed. The territory herein above referred to consists of
that certain real property in San i:_ateo County, State of
California and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINJING at the most southerly corner of Ray Park
Subdivision in the City of Burlingame as shown on that certain
map entitled "Ray Park, Burlingame, California" filed in the
office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on April 16, 1941
in Book 23 of Maps at pages 45 to 58 inclusive; said point
being the most southerly corner of Lot 61, Block 19 in the
above described Ray Park Subdivision and running thence in a
southwesterly direction along the line dividing the lands of
the Sisters of Mercy and the lands of Mills Estate to the most
northerly corner of Lot 15, Block 5, Burlingame Hills Sub-
division No. 2 as shown on that certain map entitled "Burlingame
Hills No. 2 San Mateo County, California", filed in the office
of the Recorder of San Mateo County on August 23, 1926 in
Book 14 of Maps at pages 18 and 19; thence continuing in a
southwesterly direction along line dividing Burlingame Hills
Subdivision No. 2 as above described and lands of Mills Estate
to the most westerly corner of Lot 21, Block 5; thence south-
easterly along the southerly line of said Lot 21, Block 5, to
its intersection with the northwesterly line of Adeline Drive;
thence southwesterly along said northwesterly line of Adeline
Drive to its intersection with the northwesterly line of
Hillside Drive as shown upon that certain map entitled
"Burlingame Hills No, 3 San Mateo County, California", filed
in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on August 8,
1927, in Vol. 16 of Maps, pages 23, 24 and 25; thence in a
southwesterly direction along said northwesterly line of
Hillside Drive to a point 332.14 feet distant and southeasterly
from the intersection of said line with the northeasterly line
of the State Highway, commonly known as the Skyline Boulevard;
thence across Hillside Drive at right angles to the preceding
course to a point on the southeasterly line thereof; said
point being the intersection of the northwesterly line of the
south fork of Hillside Drive with the southeasterly line of
the north fork of Hillside Drive; thence southwesterly along
the said northwesterly line of the south fork of Hillside
Drive to its intersection with the northeasterly line of the
Skyline Boulevard; thence in a northwesterly direction on and
along said northeasterly line of the Skyline Boulevard to a
concrete monument marked M E 24-131, said monument being the
point of intersection of the southeasterly boundary of the
lands of the Mills Estate, Inc., and said northeasterly line
of the Skyline Boulevard; thence northeasterly on and along
said southeasterly boundary line of the lands of the Mills
Estate, Inc. to a concrete monument marked M E 24-94; thence
northeasterly in a direct line to the most westerly corner of
Ray Park Subdivision as above described; thence southeasterly
on and along the line dividing Ray Park Subdivision and the
lands of the Mills Estate, Inc. to the point of beginning and
containing 78.169 acres of land more or less.
A copy of this ?resolution shall be published in the
Burlintrame 'ldvance-Star, a newspaper of mneral circulation
printed in the City of Burlinrcame, County of San Mateo, State
of California once a week for two succe0ding weeks prior to
said hearing.

hereby certify the foregoing resolution was introduced at a
regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council held On Tune
17, 1946, and adonted by the following vote:
