RESOLUTION NO. 12 - 46
GR MING _CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVEN-
IENCE 17M TECESSITY TO "YB'LLO CA..B CO."
-dHERM- 3, Fred ' . Azevedo and `rlm. Lorton, citizens of
the City of Burlingame :and doin,--r business in said City, under
the firm name and style of "Yellow Cab Co." at 1101 Burlingame
_venue, in said amity, havinz regularly filed with the City
Clerk an application pursuant to Ordinance 'No. 417 of the City
of 3urlingame for a certificate of 2ublic Convenience and
Niecessity as requested by said Ordinance and the said City
Clerk having set the hearing for said application after due
notice as required by said Ordinance, for Parch 4, 1946; and
ffHERalS,atthe said hearing there was no opposition
or protest voiced to the granting of said Certificate of
Public Convenience and-`ecessity; and
urH:S, the City Council hereby finds all of the
statements contained in the application of said "Yellow Cab Co."
to be true;
N9N, TH i� EFORE, BE IT R .'SOLVED that certificates of
Public Convenience and ;'necessity be, and the same are hereby
granted to the "Yellow Cab Coil' for the operation of ten (10 )
taxicabs in the City of Burlinngame as outlined in the application„
and upon condition that taxi-T:eters be installed within one
hundred ei7hty (180) days from the date hereof in all of the
taxicabs otierated at said "Yellow Cab Co."
3E IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the color scheme of the
taxicabs for which the certificates herein are granted, shall
be all yellow with black fenders with the inscription "Yellow
Cab Co. with telephone: Burlingame 3-4545;
BE IT FURTHEi RESOrIED, that the anplicant, the
"Yellow Cab Co." shall conform to and com_:ply with all of the
provisions of the said Ordinance 1To. 417 of the City of
Burlingame,
I, Herbert Y.. Idhite, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of said Council of the City of Burlingame
held on Liarch 4, 1946, and was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Dahl -Harris -Hunt -:loth
NOES: Councilmen - None
