RESOLUTION 18-46
IvMEREAS, Oscar Jack Hanson and J. E. Parker, co-
partners, doing business under the firm name and style of
"Broadway Yellow Cab Co." in the City of Burlingame, in trans-
porting passengers and baggage for hire on the 4th day of
March, 1946, made application to the City Council of the City
of Burlingame, for certificates of public convenience and ne-
cessity pursuant to the requirements of the Ordinance Code of
the City of Burlingame, as set forth in Ordinate No. 417; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk gave notice of the hearing
of said application as required by said Ordinance and as
appears from the Affidavit of Publication of said notice filed
herein; and
WHEREAS, April 1, 1946, at the hour of 8 o'clock, P.%
was fixed as the time and place for the hearing of said appli-
cation, and the matter coming on regularly before the Council
for hearing at the time specified in said notice, and the
hearing having been had and no on appearing to protest the
granting of said application;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Burlingame does hereby resolve that certificates of public
convenience and necessity be granted to the applicant for five
taxicabs which they may use in the course of the conduct of the
business, and that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby author-
ized to issue said certificates to the applicants pursuant to
this Resolution.

I, Herbert K. white, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Burlingame City Council,
held on the 4th day of Yarch, 1946, by the following vote:
