A Resolution to Close and Order Vacated a
iorti-)n of a plan ,venue, a Fublic Street
in the Oity of Burlingame.
9H'kAS, on June 1F, 1945, the City Council
of the ;ity of Burlingame adopted Resolution No. 13-45, in
which the Council declared its intenti;n to vac to and close
that portion of Caroler .venue, a public street in said City,
as in said hesolution and hereinafter described; end,
dHZR +AS, the aforesaid Resolution fixed July
16, 1945, at the hour of eight o'clock F.ivi., and th3 Council
hoom of the City Council of the City of Burlingame the tifne
and place when and where all persons interested in or object-
ing to the proposed vacation may appear and be heard; and,
WHEREAS, more than fifteen days have elapsed
since the passage of Resolution No. 13-45, and notice of the
hearing thereof has been liven by publication and posting in
the manner prescribed by law, all of which appears from the
record filed in this matter; and,
�VIEE AS, on the da^ fixed for the hearing, the
City Council heard the evidence submitted and thereupon determine
that the portion of Carolan -venue, hereinafter described is
unnecessary for public street purposes;
NO'A, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Burlingame, that the portion of Carolan
—venue hereinafter aescribed, is unnecessary for present or
prospective street purposes, and the Council does h=,reby order
said portion of said Carolan Avenuq to be vacated and closed
for public street purposes;

certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California.
The portion of Carolan ,.venue herein ordered vecated
and closed is described as follows:
That portion of Carolan avenue which fronts on the
southwesterly line of Lot 13, Block 10, as said Lot and Block
is shown on that certain map entitled "Burlingame Gardens,
Burlingame, California" recorded May 15, 1940 in Book 22 of
h1aps at pages 66 and 67, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 13,
Block 10, Burlingame Gardens Subdivision as above described
thence on and along the northwesterly boundary of said
Subdivision S 290 07' W 19.31 feet; thence S 620 26' E 60.95
feet to the southwesterly line of said Lot 13, Block 10, thence
on and along the s'>uthwesterly line of Lot 13 in a northwesterly
direction along the arc of a curve to the left hevine a radius
of 150.00 feet and arc distance of 63.92 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 732.00 square feet of land more or less,
and that the foregoinz portion of said street is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes.
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame held on
July 11, 1945, and adopted by the following vote:
